There are several steps to work towards your final Examination.

1. Attend the Foundation Course including completing the 2 practical assignments.

2. Receive a Training Completion Certificate

3. Receive your EXIN Anywhere Exam Voucher. This will be issued with your Completion Certificate and is valid for 365 days from date of issue. You will have plenty of time for reading and choosing when you take the exam.

4. Read the Required Reading literature, preparation guide and EU AI Act legislation at least once.

5. Schedule your EXIN Anywhere Exam.

6. Prepare your Exam environment. Read the section below which explain what happens and how to set up your exam space correctly.

7. Sit your exam with live or video proctoring services.

8. Results will be shared once your session has been validated by an Exam Moderator.

9. Receive your Certificate and Digital Badge.

A. The EU ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE ACT 2024/1689.

You are required to read through this legislation at least ONCE. It is available to view online for free or download the PDF here. You will also find it on Amazon if you prefer a paperback book form which you would purchase at your own expense.

During your examination, you will have a digital version of the EU AI Act available for reference.

B. EXIN AICP EXAM LITERATURE, 2025

This workbook supplements the primary literature and foundation training for this certification and provides additional background information on ISO standards and other frameworks that may be used to comply with the AI Act.

It addresses the following standards and frameworks, and how they relate to the AI Act

• Chapter 1: Data Governance (CEN/CLC/TR 18115)

• Chapter 2: Development and use of AI (ISO/IEC 42001 and ISO/IEC 5338)

• Chapter 3: Risk Management (ISO/IEC 23894)

• Chapter 4: Ethical Issues (ISO/IEC TR 24368)

This workbook will be provided by RAI By Design Ltd as your Accredited Training Organisation as part of your Course fee.

This is not mandatory to purchase or read and will not impact your ability and knowledge required to successfully past the examination. However, it builds on more depth behind the EU AI Act and the foundation training and exam literature you will already be taking.

• Candidates will book their Exam through the EXIN website.

• Candidates will need to provide their Course Completion Certificate issued by their Course Instructor before being eligible to book the Certification Exam.

• Candidates will use their Exam Voucher for EXIN ANYWHERE at time of booking.

• Once you register for your Examination you will have 21 days in which to take it before the voucher and booking is invalid.

• The Exam lasts 90 minutes and consists of 40 multiple choice questions.

• A pass mark of 65% is required.

• The Exam is an online event which can be done at a time and date of your choice and will use a live or video proctoring service to invigilate.

• Choose between Live or Video Proctoring.‍ ‍

  • With live proctoring, an invigilator monitors you in real-time while you take the exam.

  • With video proctoring, your exam session will be recorded via webcam and judged objectively once completed. You will receive an immediate provisional pass score but your final confirmation and score will not be made until your video has been reviewed by the EXIN Examination team.

• On validation by the invigilation service, your pass mark will be confirmed.

• Your Certificate and Digital Badge will be issued shortly afterwards to showcase your achievements and receive recognition.

• In the unlikely situation Students do NOT achieve the pass mark of 65% in the Exam, additional Exam Vouchers will need to be purchased and re-issued at an additional cost of £300 GBP excluding VAT per Voucher.

• The Voucher will be valid for 365 days from date of issue.
